About Simmi Sandhu
Artist, Mother & Creator of Sacred Creative Sanctuaries
I am an artist and mother creating divine feminine art and sacred creative spaces for women navigating fertility journeys, midlife transitions, body confidence, and self-reclamation.
My work is shaped by my own lived experiences. Through creativity, gentle guidance, and embodied practices, I offer women spaces to slow down, soften, and reconnect with themselves during some of life’s most tender and challenging chapters.
The Problem I Know Deeply
Fertility struggles and body disconnection are often experienced quietly and privately. Many women carry fear, self-blame, grief, and pressure in their bodies while continuing to function outwardly.
At midlife, this can be compounded by changing identities, shifting bodies, and a sense of urgency or loss of control, particularly when fertility or confidence feels fragile.
I know this not only professionally, but personally.
My Experience & Why I Hold This Work
At 40 years old, I was navigating IVF with a medical prognosis of around a 5% chance of success. It was a time marked by uncertainty, waiting, vulnerability, and emotional intensity.
Alongside clinical care, I turned inward, using creativity, visualisation, ritual, and embodied practices to support myself emotionally and spiritually through the process.
Lying in dim light with warmth on my womb, immersed in sound, I used guided imagery, affirmations, prayer, and art-making to stay connected to my body rather than feel at odds with it.
I spoke to my embryos, thanked them, and allowed love and gratitude to exist even without certainty of outcome.
Painting moons and cycles became a way to honour the divine feminine rhythms I was moving through, not to force an outcome, but to remain present and grounded.
Against the odds, my IVF journey led me into motherhood on my first attempt.
This experience did not give me answers, it gave me understanding:
of how deeply the nervous system, imagination, creativity, and compassion matter during life’s most tender journeys.
The Solution I Share
The sanctuaries and sacred creative spaces I offer today are shaped by my own lived experience.
They are not about guarantees or forcing outcomes. Instead, they are about creating the emotional, embodied, and creative conditions where women can feel held, grounded, and gently reconnected to themselves.
Through art therapy–informed practices, guided meditation, ritual, and intuitive creative expression, I share the very approaches that supported me on my own journey - not as prescriptions, but as open invitations.
Within these spaces, women are invited into:
• Emotional regulation during times of uncertainty
• Creative expression when words feel insufficient
• A renewed relationship with the body as a sacred, listening space
• Compassionate presence, free from pressure or expectation
Through my work
I offer a range of sacred creative sanctuaries designed to support women through fertility journeys, midlife transitions, body confidence, and self-reclamation.
Each sanctuary can be experienced 1:1 or within small, nurturing groups, and is held with care, compassion and deep respect for each woman’s unique path.
These spaces are designed to support slowing down, deep reconnection, and the gentle unfolding of healing and creativity at a pace that feels right for each woman.
You can work with me through:
